Web Site Evidence Base Query

It would appear that your video (downloaded from 'You Tube') is very misleading. This video confuses many different infection control issues and suggests that clinical waste is discarded in landfills rather than incinerated. There is a wealth of legislation that ensures that waste is disposed of appropriately and the link to this and the need for future generations to wear masks is helping to feed the media obsession with putting out misleading and alarmist messages to the general public. Additionally there is little to explain the difference between MRSA and an MRSA Bacteraemia. You appear to have a good product (although any fob watch has to be better than a wrist watch!) and I would therefore urge you to ensure that the articles and video's posted on your site are credible amongst clinicians and those of us working in the field of infection prevention and control.

Additional information useful to prospective buyers would be:

Is the fob watch made with a rubber that has antibacterial properties?

What is the life expectancy of the product given that it is intended to be subjected to such frequent decontamination?

Is the watch illuminated for night use?

In the interests of working together to reduce healthcare associated infection.
